Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) Level Measurement

Sulfuric acid, whose chemical formula is H2SO4, is a clear and sediment-free looking chemical that is stored in acid-resistant materials in acid-resistant materials in a 98% solution by mass and used as a pH reducer in wastewater treatment processes. It is used for the same purpose as hydrochloric acid in wastewater treatment plants. During the work with sulfuric acid, which is a strong inorganic acid, the necessary preventive measures should be taken.

No matter what concentration it is, contact with the eyes is dangerous. Concentrated sulfuric acid is very itchy and causes severe burns on the skin. The contact area should be washed with an eye shower or dilute base. If it is washed with water, heat will be released, and this event will carry out the main burning. At the place of contact, color lightening and scarring wounds occur.

MICROPULS 55 radar sensor is therefore an ideal sensor, especially for non-contact measurement of aggressive liquids. The electronic amplifier is configured for difficult measuring conditions. Thanks to its PTFE and PVDF antennas, it is resistant to aggressive substances such as acids and caustics, especially in difficult liquids. It is one of the most useful sensors capable of measuring up to 10m in all kinds of chemical mixtures and similar liquids. It is especially preferred in small tanks due to the small area it occupies on the tank, the small dead measuring zone and the ease of installation.
