Level Measurement Instruments

Level Measurement in Rivers and Creeks

It is very important to reliably monitor the instantaneous water level in rivers and streams and to take quick action against possible rising waters. This level measurement and tracking process can be measured precisely with radar level sensors and information can be monitored instantly with remote monitoring/data recording methods. In addition, with remote monitoring systems, limits can be set at important levels and warnings can be provided to authorized persons. In locations far from power lines, system energy can be provided by solar panels.

The MICROPULS 61 is a preferred radar sensor for level measurements in open areas with IP68 high sealing standards, which can be used for the detection of water level in rivers and streams. Furthermore, it is a sensor suitable for flow measurement in sluices such as Parshall, V Notch, Rectangular Weir in channels where all standards and measurements can be given where flow measurement can be calculated from the level. Since radar waves are used for measurement, it guarantees measurement continuity regardless of external factors such as wind, ambient noise, steam, rain. The electronic riser is configured for difficult conditions. In this way, the MICROPULS 61 is one of the most useful sensors that can measure up to 15m, 30m and 70m in accordance with the antenna type, especially in harsh outdoor conditions.
