MICROVIB 51 is a fork type vibrating level switch used specifically to protect against overflow and idle operation in tanks and storage areas of liquid products. It can also be used for the full/empty detection in pipelines.
Piezoelectric structure is used to ensure drive and detection in the MICROVIB 51 vibrating level switch. The piezoelectric structure allows the end fork part of the sensor to vibrate at a resonance frequency of approximately 1100Hz. As the sensor's resonance frequency will be reducted when the vibration fork is covered up with material, the electronic module detects this amplitude and converts it into a switching output signal.
