Level Measurement in Acid Tanks

Acid tanks are also found extensively in production lines in the chemical sector and many other sectors. In the level measurements to be made in the acid tanks, the level measurement device should be selected by considering the chemical properties of the acid to be measured. According to the aggressiveness of the acids, the material selection of the parts of the sensors that may be in contact with the possible acid should be made.

MICROPULS 55 radar sensor is an ideal sensor, especially for non-contact measurement of aggressive liquids. The electronic amplifier is configured for difficult measuring conditions. Thanks to its PFA and PVDF antennas, it is resistant to aggressive substances such as acids and caustics, especially in difficult liquids. It is one of the most useful sensors that can measure up to 10m (Optional 20m and 30m) in all kinds of chemical mixtures and all similar liquids. It is especially preferred in small tanks due to the small area it occupies on the tank, the small dead measuring zone and the ease of installation.

MICROPULS 57L radar level sensor is an ideal sensor for the measurement of particularly aggressive and high-temperature liquids. The stainless-steel horn antenna closed with PTFE works smoothly in all kinds of chemical environments. In this way, MICROPULS 57L is one of the most useful radar sensors capable of measuring up to 30m in particularly demanding liquids, aggressive substances such as acids, caustics, all kinds of chemical mixtures and all similar liquids.

MICROVIB 51 and MICROVIB 53 are vibrating fork level switch used to protect against overflow and idling, especially in tanks and storage areas with liquid products. The vibrating level switch uses piezoelectric construction to ensure drive and sensing. The piezoelectric structure allows the tip fork of the sensor to vibrate at resonant frequency. Since the amplitude of the sensor's resonant frequency will decrease when the vibration fork is coated with material, the electronic module detects this change in amplitude and converts it into a switching output signal.
