Caustic (Sodium Hydroxide-NaOH) Level Measurement

Sud, a strong base with a white moisture absorber, also known as caustic or sodium hydroxide, is a 48% solution form of this substance. It acts as a pH booster in wastewater treatment plants. In its reaction with water, it releases heat. It acts as a good pH booster in wastewater with low pH properties. Compared to the lime used as a pH booster in wastewater treatment plants, even at times, it does not cause blockages in dosing pumps. Therefore, its use is advantageous. The use of protective gloves and goggles during the procedure minimizes the damage of the abrasive caustic.

MICROPULS 57 is an ideal sensor for the measurement of particularly aggressive liquids. Stainless steel horn antenna sealed with POM or PTFE on request works smoothly in all kinds of chemical environments. In this way, the MICROPULS 57L is one of the most useful radar sensors capable of measuring up to 30m in particularly demanding liquids, aggressive substances such as acids, caustics, all kinds of chemical mixtures and all similar liquids.

MICROPULS 55 radar sensor is an ideal sensor for the measurement of particularly aggressive liquids. The electronic amplifier is configured for difficult measuring conditions. Thanks to its PTFE and PVDF antennas, it is resistant to aggressive substances such as acids and caustics, especially in difficult liquids. It is one of the most useful sensors capable of measuring up to 10m in all kinds of chemical mixtures and similar liquids. It is especially preferred in small tanks due to the small area it occupies on the tank, the small dead measuring zone and the ease of installation.
